FW345智能型汽轮机测速与超速保护卡，是汽轮机控制系统的专用模块。通过与TB345端子板连接，构成DEH系统的测速与超速保护I/O单元。FW345接收现场的汽轮机测速装置发来的电信号得到汽轮机的精确转速，同时接收开关跳闸和紧急停车两个DI干触点信号和上位机指令，进而发出快速可靠的汽轮机超速报警信号。该信号通过继电器输出驱动超速保护电磁阀和危急遮断电磁阀，实现汽轮机超速限制、保护功能。
本卡件具备带电插拔功能，可在系统带电的情况下直接插拔卡件，不会影响系统的正常运行。
FW345需要在主控制卡为FW247的系统中使用。
